JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

We are recruiting a Developer or Software Engineer. You participate in implement all aspects of validation and verification of the embedded software (simulation of subsystems on test bench, cycle CI/CD, etc.) on our various vehicular platforms developed and in development.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure the establishment and maintenance of the test environment (hardware and software configuration, CI/CD infrastructure, documentation, scenarios and various reports).
• Participate in the development of testing resources (monitoring technological, choice of components, simulation of subsystems of the vehicle, test infrastructure, installation and operation).
• Develop and maintain automated test suites linked to technical and functional requirements, run tests assisted, analyze the results.
• Analyze, document software anomalies and ensure follow-up.
• Write validation files.
• Validate technical and functional requirements.
• Ensure traceability of tests in line with requirements technical and functional.
• Monitor assigned tasks and test schedules.
• Direct interaction with the software development team.
• Support project progress meetings.

Desired qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, you justify a successful experience in the field of software validation.
• 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Fluency in French and English.

• Mastery of the programming language C#, AND/OR C/C++, Python (asset).
• Mastery of software tools: Git, Virtual Studio, JIRA.
• Mastery of CAN communication protocols (J1939, CANopen, etc.) and analysis and simulation software (Vector suite CANoe/CANalyser, Kvaser or similar including test modules automated).
• Knowledge of the Mathworks suite (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow).
• Knowledge and efficiency on Microsoft Office 365 platforms, Sharepoint, Teams.
• Understanding of functional safety concepts and standards automotive quality:
• (ASIL, A-SPICE, ISO-26262 and their variations).

• Skills and knowledge in mechanics, electrical or electronics.
• Concepts of design software and assisted drawings computer.
• Concepts of serial communication protocols (RS232, RS485, J1708, etc).
