Job type : Temporary 6-12 months (renewable + possibility of client permanence)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Project Management and Development business solutions, you will be responsible for carrying out one or more several project teams in a collaborative mode and interdependence with other projects. In traditional mode (Waterfall) or agile, you will be responsible for organizing, planning and coordinate human, material and financial resources necessary for the design and implementation of projects. YOU collaborate with business project directors and with the office of projects for monitoring and financing the project.

  • Large project portfolio with varying project sizes. However similar spots involve document management, suppliers, processes call for tenders, etc… with multi-project work skills which would undoubtedly overlap at times. Tasks and responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all activities of the team projects and suppliers under his responsibility in relation to the execution of projects;
  • Specifies and confirms the mandate with the client and evaluates the resources needed for the project;
  • Performs risk analysis, recommends and implements plans contingencies to ensure the success of the project;
  • Prepare and lead regular meetings by supporting members of the team, monitors the results to be produced, respect deadlines with each stakeholder and agreements with internal customers and external suppliers;
  • Writes project progress reports for all stakeholders concerned and reports the results;
  • In an agile context, it facilitates the work of carrying out the project, monitors progress and stimulates team engagement;
  • He works and collaborates with other project managers as part of a program of projects that are interdependent;
  • Manages the capacity of its resources;
  • Communicates needs and expectations well and collaborates fully with the architecture, infrastructure, integrators and team of production;
  • Prepares and writes RFIs, selects and organizes meetings with potential suppliers and drafts RFPs in collaboration with stakeholders;
  • Maintains an unwavering business focus and understanding the current strategic direction of the client’s technologies;
  • Is responsible for reporting to the authorities concerned.

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, information systems option or the equivalent;
  • Five (5) years of minimum relevant experience involving notably :
    • IT project management with a very good understanding of the side Business;
    • Finance and/or insurance;
    • Management of suppliers, calls for tenders and RFPs, management documentary, etc. ;
  • Certification in project management (PMP) – asset;
  • Knowledge of RUP methodology – asset;
  • Knowledge of the SCI Forma tool in project management – asset;
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written French;
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships in a very structured;
  • Excellent communicator, you exercise influential leadership promoting cohesion between work teams as well as the evolution of projects;
  • Ease of carrying out several projects with deadlines tight.
